On addresses, alumni memory, and why ALUXNI is built as a town rather than a network.

Most alumni platforms are directories. They ask where you work and who you know. A town asks a different question: where do you belong, and what is your address here?
ALUXNI is organized as Houses because schools are not interchangeable. 5015 House is Kenwood. 211 Suite is Whitney Young. The numbers are addresses, not categories, and the difference matters to anyone who has ever given directions using a building they no longer enter.

The Journal exists to keep that record — not as nostalgia, but as civic memory. A town that documents itself is a town that lasts.
