Town Hall

Town Hall

Trust Is Part of the Architecture.

ALUXNI was designed to make belonging beautiful and stewardship visible. Town Hall is where Residents, Neighbors, school communities, and supporters can understand how the town is governed, how public-facing funding pathways are described, and where to find current reports and policies.

The Stewardship Promise

Education Couture serves as Lead Curator and steward of the ALUXNI ecosystem.

Its responsibilities include maintaining the platform, preserving brand and community standards, administering approved fundraising pathways, documenting allocations, supporting participating educational communities, and protecting the mission that connects alumni giving to literacy and learning.

Education Couture stewards the ALUXNI platform and approved program funds. It does not govern, own, or control participating schools.

Who Stewards ALUXNI

Every role in the town is accountable to a different part of it.

Education Couture
Lead Curator; platform stewardship; approved financial administration; mission integrity; maintenance and upkeep.
Education Couture Board
Nonprofit governance and fiduciary oversight according to the organization's governing documents.
House Curators
Community hospitality, engagement, storytelling, event support, and approved House leadership.
School / Education Partners
Local collaboration, school-community context, approved identity use, and partnership responsibilities defined by agreement.
Residents & Neighbors
Participation, community culture, philanthropy, volunteerism, and adherence to House standards.

Named individuals, official titles, and partner organizations appear here only once confirmed and authorized for publication.

Public Funding Framework

Where support goes — and what has actually been approved.

  • House / Resident Support

    Under Review

Support given by alumni who register an address inside a Founding House.

70% school-designated support / 30% Education Couture literacy mission and platform stewardship

Described as a proposed pilot allocation until formally approved for the live campaign.

  • Education Couture / Champion Support

    Under Review

Support given directly to the literacy mission by champions of the town.

70% Education Couture / 30% participating school communities

Displayed as operational only when linked to an active giving campaign.

  • Curator-Referred Support

    Under Review

Support originating from a House Curator's direct invitation.

    45% Education Couture / 45% school / 10% House Curator Impact Fund

Will be described as an approved pathway only after governance, accounting, and legal review.

  • Community Hub Support

    Planned

A planned concept for organizations that gather around a school community.

    $33 total — $11 school / $11 organization / $11 Education Couture

Planned and illustrative until formally launched.

A proposed percentage, amount, or allocation is never presented as operational simply because it appears in a construction document. Every pathway above carries a status label.

Civic FAQ

The questions worth asking out loud.

Who owns and operates ALUXNI?

ALUXNI is created and stewarded by Education Couture, which serves as Lead Curator of the platform and administers approved program funds.

Does ALUXNI own participating schools?

No. ALUXNI does not own, govern, or control any school. Each House is built in collaboration with a school community, and responsibilities are defined by agreement.

How are membership contributions allocated?

Each giving pathway carries a published allocation and a status label. Allocations shown as proposed or planned are not operational until formally approved. See the Public Funding Framework above.

Where can I see current reports?

In Reports & Public Documents. Documents that do not yet exist are labelled rather than invented; the first impact report follows the inaugural reporting period.

What does “proposed” or “pilot” mean?

Proposed means a direction has been drafted but not approved. Pilot means it is operating with a defined initial community or process. Active means it is fully operational today.

How does Education Couture steward funds?

Approved fundraising pathways are administered by Education Couture, allocations are documented, and distributions to participating education partners are reported publicly once verified.

What is the House Curator Impact Fund?

A proposed portion of curator-referred support reserved for House-level community impact. It is under governance, accounting, and legal review and is not operating.

Can a school or education partner leave ALUXNI?

Yes. Participation is collaborative and defined by agreement, including the terms under which a partnership concludes.

How are school names, logos, and intellectual property handled?

Identity use is permitted only as authorized by the school community and defined by agreement. ALUXNI Houses carry their own names and marks where identity use is not granted.

How can I report a concern or ask a financial question?

Use the routing options in Questions, Concerns & Concierge. Concerns are read by a person and are never dismissed silently.

Closing

Trust Is Built in Public.

A town is only as strong as what it is willing to show. ALUXNI keeps the doors open, the records organized, and the questions welcome.
