The Promenade is the neighborhood address attached to 211 Suite. It exists for the same reason sidewalks do: a community is more than the people inside its buildings.
Neighbors receive standing in the town and a record of their support. They do not receive alumni recognition, because that is not what they are claiming — and honesty about the distinction is what makes both meaningful.
